撒母耳记上31章：非利士人击败以色列人；扫罗王和约拿单死亡

1 Samuel 31:  Philistines Defeat Israel; King Saul and Jonathan Die

1.  The Philistines attacked Israel with the result that the Israelites f____?  Many Israelites f____.

2.  Whom did the Philistines most want to kill?  Why?

3.  The Philistines not only attacked Saul, they also overtook his sons.  That day, Saul’s three sons were k______, just as who had said?  Give the names of Saul’s three sons.

4.  Did King Saul die?  But he was badly w________.

5.  Vs. 4:  What did King Saul say to his armor-bearer?  “Draw your sword and t_______ me t________ with it, so that these u______________ may not come and thrust me through, and make s_____ of me" (NRSV).   Explain why Saul requested his armor-bearer to do this.
