有時候張三批評基督教說基督教是排斥別的宗教的，基督徒非常排外。
在本系列的另一篇短文里，我已經說明基督教的大眾化。創造天地人類的神愛他所創造的人，所以神希望也等待着所有的人信耶穌、悔改、受洗、成為基督徒、獲得永生。由此可知，神一點都不把任何人排斥掉。《聖經》說：神“…寬容你們，不願有一人沉淪，乃願人人都悔改”（彼得後書3:9）。
有一首基督徒的詩歌說得好：福音是為了每一個人，“無論士農工商男女老幼；…無論漢滿回西藏智愚…；…無論南北東西化外夷狄；…無論政軍學警富貴貧賤”。
為了讓全世界的人都歸回一位神，他設立了一條道路；那就是耶穌基督。耶穌說：“我就是道路、真理、生命。若不藉着我，沒有人能到父那裡去”（約翰福音14:6）。耶穌排外嗎？似是而非。耶穌只不過把前往天堂的地圖告訴我們。地圖上有一條路；那條路就是耶穌基督。
您和我日常生活上每天也說類似的話，我們不認為這些是“排外”的話，也不認為它“太狹隘”或奪取我們的自由。譬如——
飛行員準備降落時，要跟塔台聯絡。塔台告訴他要用某一個跑道——第三跑道。飛行員說，“我看到一條馬路，既寬又長，也很平；我在那條高速公路降落就好了。”塔台會同意嗎？不可能！第三跑道很窄，但是塔台不給飛行員選擇。塔台不轄制飛行員的自由，乃是引導他把飛機平安地落地！
我妻子友善、溫柔、外向、美麗、大方。誰都喜歡她！她喜歡與人做朋友談話。但是，只有我才是她的丈夫；只有我才可以與她享受丈夫妻子彼此之間的特殊關係。難道，別的男人會罵我說“排外，排外”嗎？不！
汽車油箱，你要加滿自來水嗎？不！必須用汽油！
配眼鏡，鋁片能代替玻璃嗎？製造輪胎，四四方方不是很好嗎？打針，任何液體都可以用吧。我可以把任何姓“謝”的孩子看為我的孩子嗎？
以上問題的可笑性在於他們的荒謬和愚笨。在日常生活上，我們知道飛機不可以用公路當作跑道；我們明白女人限於一個丈夫；水不能代替汽油；輪胎必須是圓形。我自己家的孩子才是我的孩子。但是，在宗教的領域，我們要求“包容”、“寬闊”、“隨便”、“自由”等。我們過“以傳統為真，以自己的想法為準”的靈性生活。
《聖經》告訴我們：“除[耶穌]以外，別無拯救，因為在天下人間，沒有賜下別的名我們可以靠着得救”（使徒行專4:12）。
這句話的意思是，通過耶穌，萬人都可以得救。目的不是“排外”乃是告訴我們如何走上真道來到神的面前。
如果告訴飛行員如何安安全全地降落，塔台只要告訴他要用哪個跑道。不必說：“飛機駕駛，你不要用第一跑道，不要用第二跑道，不要用第五跑道。” 告訴他要用第三跑道就好啦！
神不用告訴我們什麼宗教這樣，什麼宗教那樣。（不過，神時常提醒我們要離開罪惡，要遠離邪靈，拒絕異教，不要敬拜侍奉偶像等。）神告訴我們什麼是真善美——那就是耶穌；什麼是永恆——就是耶穌；誰能賜永生——就是耶穌；誰為我們犧牲了生命——耶穌；誰從墳墓里復活了——耶穌！誰能拯救我們呢？就是《聖經》所描述的耶穌基督——那位道路、真理、生命！

Is Christianity the Only True Religion?
Sometimes people criticize Christianity, saying that it is too narrow, too exclusive. We have already seen in this series that God intended Christianity for all people throughout the world; God wants all people to believe, repent, be baptized, become a Christian and receive eternal life. God does not exclude anyone; see 2 Peter 3:9.
In order for all people to return to one God, God prepared a single road—Jesus Christ; see John 14:6. Is Jesus being exclusive or discriminatory? So it may seem, but that is not the case. Jesus merely gave the map to heaven. There is one road on the map and Jesus is that road.
We say similar things every day, but no one thinks us narrow. When the tower assigns a runway, does the pilot say “Your instruction is too narrow; I’ll land on a highway!”? Do other men consider me discriminatory when I reserve my wife’s affections for myself? Do you put water in your gas tank? Do you request aluminum lens in your new glasses? Why not put square tires on your car? When you need a hypodermic injection, why discriminate against all those vials; just pick any one! Can I claim as my own any child whose last name is Short?
Those questions are funny because they are ridiculous. We know airplanes use assigned runways. My wife belongs to me alone. No one puts water in a gasoline tank; etc. However, in the area of religion, we want to be “tolerant,” “open minded,” “however you think best;” and we want “freedom.” In things spiritual, we accept tradition as truth and our own thought process as the correct standard.
Read Acts 4:12 and see that through Jesus all people may be saved. The purpose of this statement is not to discriminate against anyone but to show us the true way to reach God.
The tower need not tell the pilot all the runways not to use; he only tells the pilot the correct runway number. Other than telling us to leave sin, reject evil, not to worship idols, etc, God does not need to tell us about this religion or that one; he has only to tell us what is correct and eternal—Jesus Christ! Who gives eternal life? Jesus! Who sacrificed himself? Jesus! Who arose from the grave? Jesus! Who can save us? Jesus! This is the same Jesus who is described in the Bible as “the way, the truth and the life!” Don’t you want to become a Christian?
