\nPROMISES MADE TO THOSE WHO PRAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a good thing that the creator of the whole universe is involved in everyday life. He did not create the world and then go off and forget about us. Sometimes the problems facing us and facing countries of the world make us wonder if there is anything that we can do that would make things better or different. Well, I learned this week that there is something that we can do. We can pray to the God that can make a difference. But why pray? Daniel, in the Old Testament part of the Bible tells us that God “\u2026changes times and seasons, deposes kings and sets up kings” (Daniel 2:21). But how could you and I make a difference? Listen to this promise: “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). What a promise! Let’s therefore pray for a while together.<\/p>\n
