It is good to know that God does not live in a certain country or a certain city or even inside a certain building. He is not the God of only a certain part of creation or people. Instead of having to go to a sanctuary &#8212; God, who is everywhere and near you all the time, He, Himself is &#8220;a sanctuary.&#8221; Andy, where did you get that? In the Old Testament part of the Bible, for people who have been mistreated and taken away from their homes, a prophet of God said that God has &#8220;been a sanctuary for them for a little while in the countries where they have gone&#8221; (Ezekiel 11:16). You cannot get out of his presence, no matter where you are, what someone does to you or whatever happens to your business, job, health, marriage or freedom.
