\u4ece\u6b64\u53ef\u77e5\uff0c\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u610f\u601d\u5e76\u4e0d\u662f\u8bf4\u6211\u4eec\u8981\u6068\u7236\u6bcd\u3002\u4e0d\uff01\u8fd9\u662f\u5938\u5927\u4e4b\u8bcd hyperbole \u3002\u8036\u7a23\u5f3a\u8c03\u4ed6\u7684\u95e8\u5f92\u8981\u5982\u4f55\u5730\u7231\u4ed6\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u4ed6\u7528\u8fd9\u53e5\u8bdd\u8ba9\u4ed6\u4eec\u5403\u60ca\u7684\u6ce8\u610f\u4ed6\u6240\u8bf4\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

\u60a8\u548c\u6211\u6709\u65f6\u5019\u4e5f\u7528\u5938\u5927\u4e4b\u8bcd\u3002\u8b6c\u5982\uff0c\u670b\u53cb\u95ee\u4f60\uff1a\u201c\u4f60\u70ed\u4e0d\u70ed\uff1f\u201d\u4f60\u56de\u7b54\uff1a\u201c\u6211\u70ed\u6b7b\u4e86\uff01\u201d\u4f60\u771f\u7684\u70ed\u5230\u90a3\u4e2a\u7a0b\u5ea6\u5417\uff1f\u2014\u2014\u4f60\u4f1a\u6b7b\u5417\uff1f<\/p>\n

\u5728\u522b\u7684\u573a\u5408\uff0c\u8036\u7a23\u4e5f\u4f7f\u7528\u5938\u5927\u8bcd\u5f62\u5bb9\u4ed6\u7684\u610f\u601d\u3002\u5728\u5f3a\u8c03\u4fe1\u5fc3\u7684\u4f5c\u7528\uff0c\u4ed6\u66fe\u7ecf\u8bf4\u201c\u662f\u56e0\u4f60\u4eec\u7684\u4fe1\u5fc3\u5c0f\u3002\u6211\u5b9e\u5728\u544a\u8bc9\u4f60\u4eec\uff1a\u4f60\u4eec\u82e5\u6709\u4fe1\u5fc3\u50cf\u4e00\u7c92\u82a5\u83dc\u79cd\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u5bf9\u8fd9\u5ea7\u5c71\u8bf4\uff1a\u2018\u4f60\u4ece\u8fd9\u8fb9\u632a\u5230\u90a3\u8fb9\uff01\u2019\uff0c\u5b83\u4e5f\u5fc5\u632a\u53bb\uff1b\u5e76\u4e14\u4f60\u4eec\u6ca1\u6709\u4e00\u4ef6\u4e0d\u80fd\u505a\u7684\u4e8b\u4e86\u201d\uff08\u9a6c\u592a\u798f\u97f317:20\uff09\u3002\u8036\u7a23\u628a\u4e8b\u60c5\u5938\u5927\uff0c\u4f7f\u5f97\u542c\u8005\u5403\u60ca\uff0c\u800c\u56e0\u6b64\u5c31\u597d\u597d\u5730\u601d\u8003\u8036\u7a23\u6240\u8bf4\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5728\u4eca\u5929\u6211\u4eec\u6240\u8bf4\u7684\u90a3\u53e5\u8bdd\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u4e00\u6837\u3002\u8036\u7a23\u4e0d\u8981\u6211\u4eec\u6068\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7236\u6bcd\uff0c\u76f8\u53cd \u8036\u7a23\u8981\u6211\u4eec\u7231\u7236\u6bcd\uff0c\u5c0a\u656c\u7236\u6bcd\uff0c\u4f9b\u517b\u7236\u6bcd\u3002\u4f46\u662f\u8036\u7a23\u5f3a\u8c03\u6211\u4eec\u8981\u7231\u4ed6\u66f4\u591a\u3002\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u8981\u628a\u8036\u7a23\u6446\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u751f\u547d\u4e4b\u4e0a\uff0c\u6446\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u5355\u4f4d\u4e4b\u4e0a\uff0c\u6446\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u5bb6\u4eba\u4e4b\u4e0a\u3002\u5728\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u770b\u6765\uff0c\u8036\u7a23\u6bd4\u4e00\u5207\u66f4\u52a0\u91cd\u8981\u3002\u5c31\u5982\u6709\u4e00\u9996\u8bd7\u6b4c\u6240\u8bf4\u7684\uff0c\u201c\u8036\u7a23\u6bd4\u5168\u4e16\u754c\u66f4\u5b9d\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n

\u4f60\u7231\u8036\u7a23\u5417\uff1f<\/p>\n

Hate Our Parents?<\/p>\n

Did Jesus say that we should hate our parents? Filial piety is the nucleus of Chinese society. It is also very important in the Bible, as we see in Exodus 20:12: \u201cHonor your father and your mother\u2026\u201d The result of breaking this command was \u201cHe who attacks his father or his mother must be put to death\u201d (Exodus 21:15, 17). In the New Testament, Jesus reprimanded people who did not take care for their elderly parents; see Mark 7:8-13. In Ephesians 6:1-2, Christians are reminded \u201cChildren, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. \u2018Honor your father and mother\u2019\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The preceding Scriptures help us understand something else that Jesus said: \u201cIf anyone comes to me and does not love me more than he loves his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters\u2014yes, even his own life\u2014he cannot be my disciple. Also anyone who does not carry his own cross and follow me, cannot be my disciple\u201d (Luke 14:26-27 [E. Short\u2019s translation of the Chinese Union Bible]). This is a good translation of the original statement because it brings out the meaning of the Greek. Some other translations, whether Chinese or English, use the word \u201chate\u201d because the original Greek says \u201chate\u201d\u2014\u201cunless one hates his father\u2026\u201d However, the meaning of the word \u201chate\u201d in this verse follows the Hebrew usage and it means to \u201clove less.\u201d Thus in this case, the literal translation of \u201chate\u201d becomes an unnecessary stumbling stone; the word is \u201chate\u201d but the meaning is \u201clove less,\u201d so the traditional Chinese Bible translation of \u201cIf one\u2026 does not love me more than\u2026\u201d is a correct translation.<\/p>\n

So, No! Jesus does not want us to hate our parents! Jesus\u2019 statement is an example of hyperbole. To emphasize how he expects his disciples to love him, Jesus made an astonishing statement. We do the same thing sometimes, do we not? \u201cI\u2019m about to burn up!\u201d Really???<\/p>\n

There are other examples of Jesus using hyperbole, such as in Matthew 17:20: \u201c\u2026I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.\u201d Jesus used hyperbole to cause people to pay attention and to think deeply about what he was teaching.<\/p>\n

Jesus does not want us to hate our parents; he wants us to love, honor and care for our parents. But Jesus emphasized that he expects us to love him even more. Christians should put Jesus first in life; his place is higher than our own lives, more important than where we work, a higher priority than our families. As Christians sometimes sing, \u201cJesus is more precious than all the earth.\u201d Do you love Jesus?<\/p>\n
