Dale\u8fd8\u8868\u73b0\u4ec0\u4e48\u6837\u7684\u6001\u5ea6\u5462\uff1fDale\u7275\u7740\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u624b\u8d70\u4e0a\u4e16\u4eba\u6700\u540e\u5fc5\u987b\u8d70\u7684\u8def\u3002\u5982\u5723\u7ecf\u7684\u4f5c\u8005\u5927\u536b\u738b\u6240\u8bf4\u7684\uff0c\u201c\u6211\u867d\u7136\u884c\u8fc7\u6b7b\u836b\u7684\u5e7d\u8c37\uff0c\u4e5f\u4e0d\u6015\u906d\u5bb3\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u4f60\u4e0e\u6211\u540c\u5728\u201d\uff0cDale\u5b8c\u5168\u4fe1\u4efb\u4ed6\u5728\u5929\u4e0a\u7684\u5929\u7236\u795e\u3002Dale\u7977\u544a\u65f6\uff0c\u6709\u4fe1\u5fc3\uff0c\u8bf4\u8bdd\u65f6\uff0c\u5bf9\u672a\u6765\u6709\u4fdd\u969c\uff0c\u6df1\u4fe1\u5929\u4e0a\u7684\u795e\u4f1a\u4e3a\u4ed6\u9884\u5907\u6700\u597d\u7684\u3002\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u662f\u4ed6\u7684\u529b\u91cf\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u62ef\u6551\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u5b89\u6170\u3002Dale\u628a\u81ea\u5df1\u4ea4\u6258\u7ed9\u795e\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u77e5\u9053\u5728\u795e\u7684\u9762\u524d\u548c\u6000\u62b1\u91cc\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u8fdc\u8d85\u8fc7\u5728\u53d7\u75db\u82e6\u7684\u8eab\u4f53\u91cc\u4e00\u5343\u5929\u3002\u4ece\u5c0fDale\u4fe1\u4ef0\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u8eba\u5728\u5e8a\u4e0a\uff0c\u51c6\u5907\u9762\u5bf9\u6b7b\u4ea1\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0cDale\u5185\u5fc3\u6df1\u5904\u5c31\u6709\u795e\u6240\u8d50\u7684\u5e73\u5b89\u3002Dale\u62e5\u6709\u201c\u90a3\u8d85\u8d8a\u4eba\u6240\u80fd\u7406\u89e3\u7684\u5e73\u5b89\u201d\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u201c\u85c9\u7740\u57fa\u7763\u8036\u7a23\u6765\u4fdd\u5b88[\u57fa\u7763\u5f92]\u7684\u5fc3\u6000\u610f\u5ff5\u201d\u7684\u5e73\u5b89\uff08\u8153\u7acb\u6bd4\u4e664:7\u73b0\u4ee3\u4e2d\u6587\u8bd1\u672c\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n

\"DaleDale\u5728\u533b\u9662\u7684\u6001\u5ea6\u5c31\u4f53\u73b0\u4e86\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u4eba\u751f\u89c2\u3002\u5927\u592b\u4eec\uff0c\u62a4\u58eb\u4eec\uff0c\u533b\u9662\u5de5\u4f5c\u4eba\u5458\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u9001\u83dc\u7684\u548c\u7ba1\u7406\u536b\u751f\u95f4\u7684\u90fd\u8ba4\u4e3aDale\u7684\u6001\u5ea6\u548c\u4e00\u822c\u75c5\u4eba\u7684\u6001\u5ea6\u4e0d\u4e00\u6837\u3002<\/p>\n

Dale\u8fd9\u4e0d\u5e73\u51e1\u7684\u6001\u5ea6\u6765\u81ea\u4ed6\u7684\u4fe1\u4ef0\u3002Dale\u662f\u4e00\u540d\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\uff1b\u4ed6\u4fe1\u4ef0\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\u3002Dale\u77e5\u9053\u8036\u7a23\u7231\u4ed6\uff0c\u5173\u5fc3\u4ed6\u3002\u77e5\u9053\u8036\u7a23\u5df2\u7ecf\u8d70\u8fc7\u4e07\u4eba\u5fc5\u5b9a\u8d70\u7684\u8def\uff0c\u8036\u7a23\u65e9\u63a5\u53d7\u4e86\u75db\u82e6\uff0c\u88ab\u9489\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u4e0a\uff0c\u6b7b\u4e86\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u8036\u7a23\u5b8c\u5168\u660e\u767d\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u75db\u82e6\u3002Dale\u4e5f\u77e5\u9053\u8036\u7a23\u4ece\u6b7b\u91cc\u590d\u6d3b\u4e86\uff0c\u4ed6\u4ece\u575f\u5893\u91cc\u51fa\u6765\u4e86\u3002\u56e0\u4e3a\u8036\u7a23\u80dc\u8fc7\u6b7b\u4ea1\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u4ed6\u628a\u590d\u6d3b\u7684\u76fc\u671b\u7ed9\u4ed6\u7684\u95e8\u5f92\u3002Dale\u662f\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u95e8\u5f92\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5Dale\u5fc3\u7406\u6709\u6c38\u751f\u7684\u76fc\u671b\uff0c\u6c38\u751f\u7684\u5e94\u8bb8\uff1b\u4ed6\u5bf9\u672a\u6765\u6709\u628a\u63e1\u3002<\/p>\n

\u4eceDale Ward\u5165\u9662\u4e00\u76f4\u5230\u4ed6\u5e73\u5b89\u5730\u79bb\u5f00\u4e86\u4eba\u95f4\u65f6\uff0c\u4ed6\u6d3b\u51fa\u4e86\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u7684\u4eba\u751f\u89c2\uff0c\u4fe1\u4ef0\u89c2\u548c\u6b7b\u4ea1\u89c2\u3002\u4ed6\u4e00\u76f4\u628a\u63e1\u7740\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u7684\u590d\u6d3b\u89c2\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5982\u679c\u60a8\u7fa1\u6155Dale\u7684\u4eba\u751f\u89c2\uff0c\u8bf7\u60a8\u8ddf\u4ed6\u4e00\u6837\u8ba4\u8bc6\u8036\u7a23\u57fa\u7763\uff0c\u6210\u4e3a\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u3002\u8bf7\u60a8\u9605\u8bfb\u5723\u7ecf\uff0c\u4ece\u4e2d\u5f97\u77e5\u8036\u7a23\u662f\u8c01\uff0c\u4ed6\u600e\u4e48\u7231\u60a8\uff0c\u4ed6\u4e3a\u60a8\u505a\u4e86\u4e9b\u4ec0\u4e48\u3002\u4e3a\u4e86\u77e5\u9053\u5982\u4f55\u6210\u4e3a\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\uff0c\u8bf7\u60a8\u9605\u8bfb\u5723\u7ecf\u65b0\u7ea6\u4f7f\u5f92\u884c\u4f20\u3002\u8bf7\u60a8\u6d4f\u89c8\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7f51\u7ad9\u6216\u8005\u5199\u4fe1\u7ed9\u6211\u3002<\/p>\n

Memories of Dale Ward \/05:\u00a0Attitude Toward Death

About 4:00 a.m. on October 10, 2006, Dale Ward passed peacefully from this life. Dale was the Executive Producer for World Christian Broadcasting.<\/p>\n

Dale\u2019s death was unusual in many ways. When I say \u201cunusual,\u201d I don\u2019t mean that he met some tragedy such as a car wreck or an airplane accident. I don\u2019t mean that he died at an unusually young age\u2014he was 62\u2014or that he passed away suddenly; he had had congestive heart failure for several years. (In fact, however, the day Dale entered the hospital, we had no idea that he would pass so quickly.) What I mean by \u201cunusual\u201d is that while Dale was in the hospital, all that he did and said, his demeanor, his thoughts, his conversations, and his attitude toward death were all very unusual, and are rarely seen.<\/p>\n

Even though I\u2019m a Christian and a minister of the gospel, even though I\u2019ve witnessed a number of people face death, only a few times have I ever seen someone face death like Dale did. Dale didn\u2019t react to his situation in anger. He didn\u2019t blame the doctor for not being able to cure his illness. He didn\u2019t feel like God cheated him because he wouldn\u2019t be able to see his grandchildren grow up. Knowledge that he was about to die didn\u2019t cause him to loose his faith. Rather, Dale expressed the desire that God\u2019s will be done in his life, and he wanted to give himself over completely to making God\u2019s will manifest in his life.<\/p>\n

Dale smiled, and sometimes he joked. Each time I visited him in the hospital, Dale asked me to read to him from the Bible, and to pray for him.<\/p>\n

What other attitudes did Dale express? He held the hand of Jesus and walked the Final Road that each of us must walk. As King David said in the book of Psalms, \u201cEven though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me,\u201d Dale also completely trusted in God, his Father in heaven. When Dale prayed, he prayed in faith; when he spoke, he spoke with confidence in the future, knowing that God would do for him what was best. Jesus Christ was Dale\u2019s strength, salvation and comfort. Dale put himself into the safe arms of the Lord. He believed that one day in the presence of God was far better than a thousand days of suffering in the body. Dale had believed in Jesus Christ from childhood, and so while lying on his bed in the hospital and knowing that his life would end, deep in his heart he had peace, the peace that God gives. Dale possessed \u201cthe peace of God which transcends all understanding,\u201d the peace \u201cthat will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus\u201d [Philippians 4:7 NIV].<\/p>\n

Dale\u2019s attitude in the hospital was the embodiment of the Christian philosophy of life. The physicians, the nurses, other hospital employees including those who brought food trays and those who cleaned the bathrooms, all thought that Dale\u2019s attitude was different from that of most other patients.<\/p>\n

This unusual attitude that Dale possessed came from his faith. He was a Christian; he put his faith in Jesus Christ. Dale knew that Jesus loved him and cared for him. He knew that Jesus had already walked this road that all mankind must tread, that Jesus had accepted suffering by being nailed to a cross and dying, and so Jesus completely understands our pain. Dale also knew that Jesus was raised from death and had vacated the grave. Having overcome death, Jesus gave the hope of resurrection to his disciples. Dale was a disciple of Jesus, so deep in his heart, he had the hope of eternity and the promise of eternal life; he faced the future with confidence.<\/p>\n

From the time that Dale entered the hospital until he peacefully passed from this life he embodied the Christian philosophy of life and faith, and the Christian view of death. He always held tightly to the Christian belief in resurrection.<\/p>\n
