我可以告訴她任何的事情。我可以告訴她我曾想過或做過的一些壞事，她不會把我關在門外，然後開始心煩。我可以告訴她我的內心世界，這也無妨。你遇到過這樣的朋友嗎？這才是真正的友誼，對吧。這也是禱告之所在：向神傾吐我們的內心。沒有什麼事會令神感到詫異。他知道未來的事。他愛你也愛我，他的愛是完美的，因此我們所說的任何話，所做的任何事都不會令他遠避我們。他是我們可以靠近、可以信賴的神。事實上，神最愛聽的是那些“認識到自己的軟弱，知道自己需要神”的人所做的禱告。禱告永遠都是值得去做的。

23 IS IT POSSIBLE TO SHOCK GOD?
I could tell her anything. I could tell her bad things I had thought or done and she would not shut me out and get all upset. I could tell her what was going on inside of me and it was ok. Have you ever had someone like that? That is true friendship isn’t it. That’s what prayer is: pouring out our hearts to God. Nothing will ever happen that shocks Him. He knows the future. He loves you and me with a perfect love so nothing we can say or do will ever make him run away from us. He is one that we can draw near to and trust. In fact, the people that God loves to hear from the most in prayer are those who recognize their own weaknesses and their need of him. Prayer is always worthwhile.
