禱告以及認罪的藝術
我這一周所讀到的內容你可能不會相信。我讀到有一群人在自己的生活中找尋神的位置，他們聚在一起花了好幾個小時學習神的心意，並且按神的意思禱告。我讀到這群人“那日的四分之一站在自己的地方念耶和華他們上帝的律法書，又四分之一按着神的律法認罪，敬拜耶和華他們的上帝”(尼希米記9:3)。我是在聖經舊約《尼希米記》中讀到這些內容的。當這些猶太人意識到他們需要神，他們便花大量的時間向神認罪，提醒自己在生活中他們需要神。認罪潔凈他們的靈魂，使他們與神靠得更近。朋友，我們現在就停下來，花上幾分鐘的時間向神禱告吧。

PRAYER AND THE ART OF CONFESSION
You will not believe what I read this week. I read about a group of people who were searching for God’s place in their lives and got together for several hours to study and pray. “They stood where they were and read from the book of the law of the Lord their God for a quarter of the day and spent another quarter in confession and worshipping the Lord their God” (Nehemiah 9:3). I read that in the Old Testament part of the Bible in the book of Nehemiah. When they recognized their need for God, they spent a lot of time confessing their sins to God and reminding themselves of their need of God in their lives. Confessing our sins cleans our souls and draws us closer to God. Pause for a couple of minutes right now and pray to God.
