我們知道我們用一台比較高級的照像機時要先對準焦點才照相。建立成功的家庭也是這樣——要先對準焦點才能夠擁有成功的家庭。聖經告訴我們，孩子還小的時候，父母就要開始把神的真理教導給他們（申命記6:4-9）。聖經故事書或白話翻譯本聖經都會讓孩子和父母一樣認識神而得知神的旨意和教導。聖經會幫助我們對準生命的焦點和立下生命的目標。請讓神的真理做成您生活的指南針以及你腳前的燈和路上的光。

4. Focus on God
“Focus” is as important in the home as it is in photography or sports. Since the Bible tells us to teach our children the word of God from their youth (Deuteronomy 6:4-9), we should begin early to read the Bible with our children. Start with a Bible story book, and then use a simple translation of the entire Bible. God’s truth will serve as their foundation for life.
