給禱告之人的應許
造物主每天都在參與我們的生活，這是多麼美好啊。他並沒有在創造了世界之後就撒手不管，忘了我們。有時我們以及各個國家所遇到的問題會讓我們思考，我們是否可以做些什麼來改善或者改變這些問題。我們可以做的一件事，就是向能夠改變這一切的神來禱告。可是為什麼要禱告呢？舊約《但以理書》告訴我們，神“改變時候、日期，廢王，立王”(但以理書 2:21)。但是你我可以引起怎樣的改變呢？請聽聽這個應許：“這稱為我名下的子民，若是自卑、禱告，尋求我的面，轉離他們的惡行，我必從天上垂聽，赦免他們的罪，醫治他們的地”(歷代志下7:14)。這是怎樣的一個應許啊！那麼就讓我們一起來禱告一會兒吧。

PROMISES MADE TO THOSE WHO PRAY
It is a good thing that the creator of the whole universe is involved in everyday life. He did not create the world and then go off and forget about us. Sometimes the problems facing us and facing countries of the world make us wonder if there is anything that we can do that would make things better or different. Well, I learned this week that there is something that we can do. We can pray to the God that can make a difference. But why pray? Daniel, in the Old Testament part of the Bible tells us that God “…changes times and seasons, deposes kings and sets up kings” (Daniel 2:21). But how could you and I make a difference? Listen to this promise: “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). What a promise! Let’s therefore pray for a while together.
