因“他”的名而屈膝
有些名字，當人們提起時，會引起你的注意。有些廣為人知的名字，只要一提起，你就知道這個人是誰。總統，國家主席，教皇，可能是你我都知道的一些名字。然而，有這樣的一個名字，它使得魔鬼戰兢而逃（雅各書2:19)。有這樣一個名字，它所擁有的權柄能打敗魔鬼，使魔鬼逃離躲避。有這樣一個名字，一切的受造物在這個名字前都是赤露敞開的。有這樣一個名字，它在一切的名字之上，當提到這個名字時，萬膝都要謙卑跪下（腓立比書2:10)。這個名字就是耶穌的名。無論你此時在什麼地方，處於什麼樣的環境中，我都希望你能知道，奉這個名字而禱告——耶穌的名——意味着我們可以完完全全相信，凡藉着他的名求神，神就會回應我們的所需。當我們禱告時藉着耶穌的名禱告時，這宇宙的神，全能的神，充滿着無限智慧的神將傾聽我們的請求。今天，讓我們一起深信不疑地禱告吧。

36 WE BOW AT THE MENTION OF HIS NAME
There are some names that when they are mentioned, you take notice. There are some people who are so widely known that when their name is spoken, you know who they are. President George W. Bush, President Hu Jintao, former Iraq dictator Saddam Hussein, the Pope and Tony Blair might be some of those names you and I would know. There is a name that causes demons to tremble and flee (James 2:19). There is authority in one name that causes the devil to run away and hide in defeat. There is a name to whom the entire creation holds its very existence. It is a name that is above every name. When the name is mentioned, every knee should bow in humility (Philippians 2:10). That name is the name of Jesus. Wherever you are at this moment, whatever your circumstances, I want you to know that to pray in this name—the name Jesus—means that we can with full assurance know that everything His name represents will bring God’s answers to our needs. Through the name of Jesus when we pray, the all powerful and all wise God of the universe listens to our requests. Let us with confidence join together in prayer today.
