她坐在輪椅上，行動很不方便，但是臉上卻散發著燦爛的笑容。“你從來就沒有情緒低落的時候嗎?”一個來看望她的人問道,“你身體的障礙不會困擾你，讓你氣餒嗎?” “噢，不會的,”她笑着回答說,“你瞧，我有神的電話號碼。我什麼時候想給跟他通話都行。他那邊從來都不會佔線。他總是親自來接，並且我所有遇到的問題他總能給出答案。” “啊？神的電話號碼？你是說，你有神的電話號碼?” “我就是有,”她說。“就在聖經舊約《耶利米書》33章3節，神說,“你求告我，我就應允你，並將你所不知道、又大又難的事指示你。”哇，神的號碼果真在這兒！神承諾過要回答我們。只要我們呼求他，他就會做出超乎我們想象的事來。你已經擁有了那“電話號碼,”給神“打電話”吧。雖然神在天上，你我在地上，但禱告是神的賜福，它使得兩個世界得以聯繫。今天請你如同在和一位好朋友進行直接通話一樣，向神禱告吧。去求神吧，如果我們的請求是對我們有益的，神必使我們的願望實現。

20 DO YOU HAVE GOD’S TELEPHONE NUMBER?
She was sitting in her wheel chair, badly handicapped but with a radiant smile on her face. “Don’t you ever feel down,” asked her visitor? “Doesn’t your handicap bother you and discourage you?” “Oh, no,” she replied with a smile. “You see, I have God’s telephone number. I can call Him up anytime I want to. His line is never busy. He always answers Himself, and He always has the answer to my problem.” “God’s telephone number, huh? What do you mean, you have God’s telephone number?” “I have it alright,” she said. “It is in the Old Testament part of the Bible in Jeremiah 33:3. That’s where God says, “Call to me, and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” Wow. It really is there! God has promised to answer. He will do things beyond our imagination, if we just call. You’ve got the number! Call on him. Although God is in heaven and you and I are upon the earth, prayer can bring about a blessed contact between both worlds. Pray today as though you were having a direct conversation with a good friend. Just ask. If the request is good for us, God will grant our wishes.
